First weekend of tart cheery season! We're having Cherry Pie Waffles with whipped cream for brunch. Inspired by the Hot Brown sandwich created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky in 1926, our slightly lighter version is ham, turkey and tomato served on grilled sourdough and covered in a savory cheddar cheese sauce. This knife-and-fork sandwich is being served à la cart.
Also several varieties of scones are cooling including Walnut Raspberry, Raspberry Almond and something Ren created that is topped with marshmallows!
