Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!

Good morning Durward! I found two quarts of sour cherry pie filling and am making the Cherry Crisp French Toast so you might want to come in a bit later to make sure it's finished.

Since it's the weekend before Fat Tuesday we're pulling out a little NOLA love at the cafe. This morning I have a breakfast roll version of King Cake that we're calling, what else, King Buns. We also have a Chili Corn Waffle - a spicy corn waffle topped with chili, sour cream and cheddar cheese as well as a traditional Belgian Waffle with Maple Syrup.

Lunch specials are a Queso Chicken Cheese Steak Panini - chicken "cheese steak-style" with a hot spinach cheese spread served on a grilled ciabatta sub roll and San Pedro Panino - slices of avocado, roasted red pepper, grilled onions, cilantro-lime aioli, provolone, and greens

Beef Chili Con Carne
and Jalapeno Corn Chowder (vegetarian)


Tomorrow a Beignet & Cafe au Lait Special, Cheese Grits and Shrimp and Sausage Gravy Waffle are all on the menu.
